Arheolozi otkopali čitavu urnu iz brončanog doba

The dig underway at Hendersick Barrow in SE Cornwall. A Bronze age cremation has been found on a farm in Cornwall by archaeologist. See NATIONAL story NNBRONZE. The set of burnt human remains dating back 4,000 years were discovered near Looe and although it was quite ritualistic, what the ritual was still remains a mystery. The discovery was made as an archaeologist and a team of volunteers investigated a Bronze Age burial mound. The 'miracle' study also discovered evidence of 'unaccountable activity' from the medieval period on the same site. Local farmers had told the research team there was little chance of discovering anything on the site due to years of ploughing and farm use. Archaeologist Dr Catherine Frieman from the Australian National University (ANU) led the project which unearthed a 'beautiful burial'.
